About CPRI
Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is the power house of the Indian electrical industry. Set up in 1960 by the Government of India, it functions as a centre for applied research in electrical power engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and quality assurance. CPRI also serves as an independent authority for testing and certification of power equipment of specialization.

Conference
With increased demand for power & right of way issues with high voltage overhead lines, Underground power cables are becoming more and more prominent in transmission and distribution sector . As Cable accessories form the most critical component of the system, design and installation procedures for cables and accessories play an important part in the reliability of cable system in service. Further, the need for high current transmission across long length demands the requirement of HVDC cables and their accessories. The development on Nano dielectrics for the development of HVDC insulation to limit the space charge issues in connection with DC XLPE Cables is also gaining momentum. In addition, Utilities face lot of challenges in connection with condition monitoring of the cable system in service. With advancement in technology, new measurement techniques and computerized analytical techniques are in place for better maintenance of power cable system. This CABLETECH conference which is 12th in the series is proposed to provide an overview of all the elements that are of interest, in connection with safe and reliable cable transmission and distribution system with special attention to new materials. As with previous conferences the programme will have plenary and technical sessions. Since 1983, CABLETECH has brought together Engineers, Scientists, manufacturers and Regulators from around the globe to hear the latest state of art technology. This conference will provide a common platform for all stake holders to network with their peers to exchange ideas and developing new ones. Bangalore , the garden city of India is an attractive destination for tourists and professionals alike with its global IT fame and location of research centers of many global entities and surrounded by many historic and natural beauty spots.

Paper Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are requested to submit a digest no longer than six pages as per conference paper format available in https://www.cabletech2024.in . The digests must clearly state the objectives of the work, its significance in advancing engineering or science, and the methods and specific results in sufficient detail. Accepted and presented paper is included in the conference e-proceedings. Presented manuscripts will be submitted for possible publication in CPRI Journal. Registration
The perspective participants, desirous of attending the conference may register themselves by sending the details to CPRI along with necessary payments. Use the registration form enclosed and send it along with the payment. The conference timing will be 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM. The registration will start at 8.00 AM on 25th April 2024. Registration fee shall cover the registration kit, and Tea/ coffee / lunch during the Conference. Registration fee shall cover the copy of the proceedings of the Conference.
